Fees

Club fees are paid annually and run from 1st January to 31st December; in addition a one-off fee is payable upon joining the club. Membership of the BMFA is mandatory because it provides third party insurance for all members. It can be paid for through the club or separately if you prefer.

Training

New members must have passed their BMFA 'A' test before they are permitted to fly solo. For those not in posession of an 'A' certificate training can be arranged with one of the club's flying instructors. Whilst the Concord MFC has instructors approved to teach its members it is the sole responsibility of the individual requiring tuition to seek out an instructor and organise a mutually convenient arrangement, particularly as the instructors teach on a voluntary basis, in their own time. Those seeking training are required to organise with an instructor as there is absolutely no guarantee that an instructor will be available if the pupil just arrives at the field without prior notice.
