I,   Bunny   Newman,   Hon.   President   of   your   Club   was   very   impressed   and   completely taken   unawares   on   Firework   Sunday   6th   November   at   the   field,   when   Ali   and   Rob   added to the occasion by suggesting I made a rare appearance by attending the annual do. Thank   you   very   much   for   the   celebration   of   my   80th   birthday   (it   only   happens   once   in   a lifetime,    being    80    that    is)    It    was    a    very    well    kept    secret    and    I    was    honestly overwhelmed.   The   highlights   were   almost   too   many   to   mention,   but   the   night   flying through   the   fireworks   took   some   beating.   The   cake   was   absolutely   fabulous,   very   tasty and   not   too   sweet   the   champers   just   the   job   and   the   prezzies,   superb   barbeque   and friendliness   made   it   definitely   worth   the   wait   (only   80   years).   I   must   thank   Jackie   for   all her   efforts   too,   the   balloons   certainly   must   have   taken   a   lot   of   blowing   up   and   how about   Kay   Stewart   for   her   very   extensive   photos.   I   am   proud   to   be   your   Hon.   Pres.   and even   more   proud   of   starting   Concord   with   a   couple   of   others   (take   a bow   Dave   Stewart   for   one,)   a   good   club   with   a   good   name   and   a farmer who is always ready to help, and a good friend of mine too.
